Sleep in a bubble in Iceland

Iceland is on most people's itch-list (as in 'itching to go there') but perhaps we need more information - like what is there to saee, and what can you do?

So how about a tour that takes the planning in hand and the first stop is at the stunning Seljalandsfoss waterfall (above). If you’re feeling adventurous be sure to walk the steep staircase to view the gorgeous waterfall from behind. At 65 metres high, there are breathtaking views of roaring glacier waters and birds that call this place home.

Moving away from the waterfalls, the tour makes its way further down the coast to Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach located in the small coastal town of Vik, known for it’s black-coloured sand and ginormous basalt stacks. In 1991, National Geographic voted Reynisfjara as one of the Top 10 non-tropical beaches to visit.

However, the last stop beats everything else - the bubbles where you will spend the night. They are all transparent, which means if the Aurora is dancing you will have a private show. All of the six bubbles are located a short walking distance from the service house, which contains WC and showers.

Just be aware that the Bubble Hotel location on the South Coast tour is set upon a steep hill.
