Starting in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Porto, you will experience all that this fascinating and vibrant city has to offer.
From Porto, it’s only a short hop to the quaint village of Pinhao, where we start the walk. Along the way, we spend time at some of the vineyards that have claimed many international awards.
The sheer beauty of the valley landscape and the tranquility and striking colours of the endless vineyards surrounding the Douro River (which means River of Gold) are simply breathtaking.
