| Lushcups and Helen Wong's Tours |
|
You have to wonder what a specialty cupcake maker and the icon of Australia's tours to China have in common. Helen Wong's Tours is this year celebrating a solid-silver 25 years in the industry. This is a magnificent achievement and Helen Wong (yes, there is a real person behind this!) threw a party the other night at Sky Phoenix in Westfield Sydney. The take-home gift was a delicious little cupcake made by the Sydney-based bakery Lushcups (more of them later) and of course it was branded for Helen's tours.
Helen Wong's Tours is a respected market leader and one of the longest established tour operators in Australia. The key to the success of theirs tours is the ability to craft a seamless tour program and deliver the best travel experiences to the clients. "It is our commitment to reward you with exceptional holiday experiences that we believe will exceed your expectations," says Helen. Food & Travel has had the opportunity to travel several times with Helen Wong's Tours and we can say that everything from the attention to detail to the quality of accommodation and meals offers exceptional value.
Lushcups, makers of these designer cupcakes are somehow are able to transfer corporate logos such as Helen Wong's to cupcakes which are then packed in cute little boxes. Owners Alison (who founded the business in December, 2006) and Catherine combine 18 years background in fashion, product development, buying and design. Little wonder, then, that attention to detail is the main focus. As mother they know how important the cake is at a child's birthday party so they are covering the market from all directions!
