Regarded as the premier food and wine event in Australia, over 150 of our country’s most influential chefs, winemakers, media identities and serious foodies will turn Noosa into a food lovers Mecca. With details of the program still being finalised for Friday 13th May - Sunday 15th May 2011, it has been confirmed with much excitement, several of Australia’s greatest foodies and regional food ambassadors will be joining the Festival. First time festival guest Maggie Beer will host one of the Friday Lifestyle Lunches, which is aptly named, ‘My Barossa Valley’. Maggie will be joined by her daughter Saskia, and the lunch will celebrate the produce, personality and wines of the Barossa Valley. Maggie and Saskia will also headline ‘Maggie’s Farm Shop’ on the Saturday offering an exhibition of Maggie and Saskia Beer’s famous produce, A Barossa Food Tradition. The Festival will also welcome back Stephanie Alexander who will be joined by some of her students from the inspiring Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation. The festival will also boast a wonderful line up of Australian Chefs including... Jacques Reymond, Martin Boetz, Tony Bilson, Matt Wilkinson, Giovanni Pilu, Justin North, Hadleigh Troy, Matt Moran, Mark McNamara, Alex Herbert, Cheong Liew, Pablo Torsdeillas, Philip Johnson, Tony Percuoco, Ben O'Donoghue, Brad Jolly, Shane Bailey and more. More exciting announcements will be made over the next few weeks as the Audi Noosa Food & Wine Festival 2011 starts to cook up a storm with further exclusive guest and event information.
