Let's set the scene. It is hot, with no respite soon, the sun is blazing down as you are driving down the highway. You have not seen a town in the last 100kms, and the kids (or big kids' mates) are starting to ask, "Are we there yet?" But as you cruise along looking for your next free camp, a wonderful sight meets your eyes like a beautiful mirage - a classic Australian country caravan pub!
Australians are pretty good at a few things, and country caravan pubs would have to be almost the top of the list.
