...or turn your laptop or phone around. It's the house that is upside-down, and it is meant to be that way. Verrueckte Haus, or Crazy House, opened in 2010, is located in Bispingen, Germany. Built by a local investor, it was planned as an attraction for the local zoo. Read more.... ++++
But Germany is not the only country to have this idea. Port Dickson, in Malaysia, about an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur, has the extraordinary Upside Down Gallery which opened in May 2015. Each room in this astonishing space is filled with amusing upside-down scenes, enabling visitors to take some memorable pictures of themselves alongside everything from furniture to household appliances, ‘suspended’ above them. This surreal architectural marvel will totally upend your perceptions.
Obviously the upside-down gallery has been constructed so that the ceiling is actually the floor with everything hanging above you. Visitors pretty soon see that the trick is to take photographs then turn them upside down before they post them on their Facebook page. |
