| Treehouses in the Loire |

The Loire Valley in France is best known for its magnificent chateaux. However, here at Les Alicourts Resort, near Orleans, there are mansions of another sort. The resort covers nearly 60 hectares with picturesque views and top-rate facilities including a lake, pools and spa facility. Thirty acres of preserved forest now include eight beautifully crafted treehouses to provide an unforgettable holiday experience.
Suitable for families as well as couples, there are treehouses for two, four and six people at heights from 3.5m to 7.5m off the ground. All have eco toilets and warm comfortable beds. In the treehouses, you're provided with candle lights and torches. Washing facilities are in the main buildings nearby and every day your breakfast is delivered fresh to the bottom of your tree!
