Another unique place to stay, Uros Khantati, is located on Lake Titicaca, the world's highest navigable lake, inland on the Andean plateau between Peru and Bolivia.
Now visitors can enjoy a unique stay on one of over fifty small islands in what has to be the world's most extraordinary archipelago. These floating reed islands are populated by the Uros, an ancient indigenous people.
Khantati, is an authentic rural homestay you won't find anywhere else. Guests are provided with a living hands-on experience among the reed islands of Lake Titicaca, staying in reed-built accommodation that is clean, comfortable, and always ecologically friendly. This is essential as the lives of the locals depend on the lake, so they strive to ensure that impact on the environment is minimal.
