Here's a different way to experience Australia's centre. Uluru Fork and View uses a specially designed and modified double-decker coach, the lower deck having been completely transformed into a kitchen/servery and the upper deck a 44 seat open air eatery with uninterrupted views of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
The tour departs approximately one hour before sundown and the three-course progressive evening dining experience, begins with guests enjoying canapés and sparkling wine as they marvel at the beautiful changing colours of Uluru at sunset with 360-degree panoramic views of the National Park from atop of the double-decker coach.
Next, the group is taken to the base of Uluru to enjoy main course with premium wines as they learn about the pioneering history of the region. Dessert is served on board a short distance away at the Mutitjulu Waterhole with Uluru silhouetted against the starry desert sky. The menu has been planned to embrace the pioneering history of the region in its flavours and theme.
